Let God prevail in even the small things of life

Hi Friends!

We’ve been taking notice of the small ways that God shows His relentless pursuit of us.

  • Routines become enlivened and purposeful when we dedicate them to God.

  • Mundane tasks become meaningful as we ask for help to orchestrate them with His love.

  • Reaching out to a friend becomes a blessed effort as we seek to reach with Christ’s help.

When we choose to love God and consecrate our lives to Him, we’re blessed with more light, knowledge—everything we need to make our daily existence full of joy and strength.

How do we consecrate the regular, daily parts of our lives to our Heavenly Father?

Prayer is always a good place to begin.

We can ask for capacity and direction to serve where we’re needed. Prayer can inspire us to act and enlighten our minds, so we get a glimpse of how even the simplest acts of service add goodness and light to the world.

Obedience and sacrifice lead to consecrated lives. Seeing our sacred privilege as covenant keeping daughters of God turns obedience from a task to be followed into something we desire to live. Being grateful for all the Lord has blessed us with turns sacrifice from something we give up to something we freely offer out of love for He who gives us all things.

“When we let God prevail, He will take us just where He needs us and to places we never imagined.” President Camille N. Johnson

What small ways have you noticed God’s relentless pursuit of you and others? We’d love to hear from you.
