5 joyful gospel truths for today

Hi Friend,  

We’re inspired by this thought we heard on the Magnify podcast:  

“I have big faith.” 

So, we asked ourselves, what does it look like to have big faith?  

One answer—trusting in fundamental truths of our joyful gospel:  

The Lord hears all of our prayers. “I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee.” 2 Kings 20:5  

The Lord answers our prayers. “The Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.” 1 Samuel 1:27 

The Lord is always with us. “I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up.” Doctrine and Covenants 84:88 

The Lord guides us on our path. “He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” Isaiah 40:11  

The Lord knows our hearts. “I speak unto you, Emma Smith, my daughter; for verily I say unto you, all those who receive my gospel are sons and daughters in my kingdom.” Doctrine and Covenants 25:1
